Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd seeks a Mobile Chef for multiple Aramark sites in the Letterkenny area. You will prepare, cook and present high-quality meals while upholding food safety and company standards.

The role supports daily catering operations and contributes to a positive dining experience for guests. The position requires previous catering or chef experience, knowledge of HACCP and food safety, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef, Catering Chef, or similar role.
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
• Understanding of HACCP and food safety legislation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and customer requirements.
• Ensure food is presented attractively and served to a high standard.
• Maintain food quality, portion control, and consistency.
• Assist with menu planning and development.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.
• Receive and store deliveries following food safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas and equipment.
• Minimize food waste and support cost-control initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Support catering functions, events, and special dietary requirements.
• Train and support junior kitchen staff when required.
