Job summary

NHS Scotland is recruiting a Driver/Handyperson to support the mobile breast screening unit in the North of Scotland. You will assist with janitorial and maintenance tasks and help ensure appointments run smoothly in the local setting.

A clean UK driving licence is essential, and basic computer skills with good DIY ability are required. You should communicate well with the public and work flexibly, including long days when needed.

• A clean UK driving licence is essential.
• Basic computer skills and good general DIY skills are required to provide janitorial and maintenance support.
• Experience in dealing with members of the general public in a professional manner with good communication and excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the mobile breast screening unit and assist with janitorial/maintenance tasks.
• Assist with arranging appointments for eligible clients within the local setting.
• Be prepared for flexible working patterns including early/late finishes, split shifts or long days.
