Job summary

Kinisla is offering a 6-month Early Careers Internship in Castleisland, Co. Kerry. Based with the Agribusiness team, you will gain hands-on dairy quality experience and work on sustainability projects.

You will collaborate with senior colleagues, learn from experts, and have a pathway to graduate opportunities. Applicants studying Food Science or Agricultural Science are invited, with a drive to succeed and good communication.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in agriculture, milk quality and dairy sustainability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Agribusiness team to troubleshoot milk quality issues on farm.
• Contribute to milk quality, water quality and sustainability projects.
• Engage with milk suppliers and share project findings with the team.
• Support internal knowledge sharing and apply learnings to real-world scenarios.

Description and Responsibilities

Our expert Kinisla Agribusiness team provides best-in-class technical support and advisory services to our milk supplier base. Based with the Milk Quality and Sustainability team in Castleisland, Co. Kerry, you will help identify and resolve on-farm milk quality challenges while contributing to important quality, water and dairy sustainability projects. As part of the team, you will:

• Collaborate with and support the team to troubleshoot milk quality issues arising on farm and help identify practical solutions.
• Contribute to projects related to milk quality, water quality, the Dairy Sustainability Programme, and Evolve Regen Dairy.
• Engage with and build strong working relationships across our milk supplier base.
• Share project findings with the team and milk suppliers, as appropriate.

• Studying Food Science, Agricultural Science, or a related degree.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with colleagues and milk suppliers.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• A motivated self-starter who works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A valid driving licence and own transport.
