Job summary

PA Consulting is seeking a Mid-Level Industrial Designer for our Wicklow, Ireland studio. You will contribute to applying design thinking across consumer electronics and healthcare brands, building compelling narratives and delivering manufacturable concepts.

The role blends craft and digital tools in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work with researchers, engineers and prototypers to advance products from concept to prototype, focusing on user-centered experiences,

Qualifications

• Excellent portfolio of industrial design experience.
• Ideally 2 years professional experience in design consultancy/agency.
• Fluent with hand sketching and craft modelling.
• Exceptional aesthetic sensibility.
• Empathetic to user needs, motivations, and behaviours.
• Knowledge of 3D design and software tools such as Rhino/SolidWorks/Keyshot.

Responsibilities

• Help design and develop consumer electronics and similar devices for mass production.
• Participate in research to inspire solutions.
• Create design narratives that convey brand and audience.
• Present ideas to clients alongside the team.
• Design holistic user experiences with a sustainability mindset.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to drive high-level design.
