Job summary

PA Consulting in Co. Wicklow, Ireland, seeks a Mid-Level Industrial Designer to join a dynamic studio of researchers, designers, engineers and prototypers. You will help design consumer electronics and related devices for mass production, build strong design narratives, and present ideas to clients.

The role emphasizes aesthetics, brand storytelling, and collaboration, with a focus on sustainability and continuous skill development within a forward‑looking team.

Qualifications

• Excellent portfolio of industrial design experience.
• Ideally 2 years professional experience in design consultancy/agency.
• Fluent and confident with hand sketching and craft modelling.
• Exceptional aesthetic sensibility.
• Empathetic to user needs, motivations and behaviours.
• Thorough understanding of three-dimensional design; skilled with Rhino/SolidWorks and Keyshot.

Responsibilities

• Help design and develop consumer electronics and similar devices for mass production.
• Participate in research to inspire solutions and mine insights.
• Build narratives that convey brand and audience.
• Present ideas confidently to clients alongside the team.
• Create outstanding concepts across diverse industries.
• Design holistic user experiences.
