Job summary

Lex Consultancy Recruitment is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 & Modern Workplace Engineer to optimise and support the organisation’s Modern Workplace stack in a hybrid role based in Dublin 2. You will focus on Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity and security to enhance user experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Modern Workplace or End User Computing.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 technologies: Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune.
• Experience administering Entra ID and Defender security solutions.
• Solid Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and device security knowledge.
• PowerShell scripting and Autopilot deployment experience.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administration across Microsoft 365 services.
• Ensure 365 availability, performance, and optimization.
• Manage endpoints using Intune, Endpoint Manager, Autopilot and Windows Update.
• Handle application deployment, packaging, updates and lifecycle.
• Administer Entra ID and support Zero Trust security model.
• Support Defender technologies and assist with security incidents.
• Analyse device health, user sentiment, and productivity metrics.
• Support business-critical apps and SaaS deployments.
• Support on-premise technologies and document management systems.

An International Professional Services Organisation with offices in Dublin are seeking to hire an experienced Microsoft 365 & Modern Workplace Engineer to support and optimise the organisation’s Modern Workplace technology stack, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity, security and user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day administration and support across Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, MS Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Forms and Power Platform
• Ensure Microsoft 365 availability, performance and optimisation across the organisation
• Administer and maintain endpoint devices, using Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, Windows Autopilot and Windows Update for Business
• Manage application deployment, packaging, updates and lifecycle management
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID and support identity, access control and the organisation’s Zero Trust security model
• Support Microsoft Defender technologies, investigate endpoint security risks and vulnerabilities, and assist with security incident response activities
• Analyse device health, user sentiment, performance metrics and productivity indicators to identify opportunities for improvement
• Provide support and administration for business-critical applications and SaaS platforms, including upgrades, testing, deployments and user adoption
• Support legal applications, document management systems and existing on-premise technologies

Experience & Background:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Modern Workplace, End User Computing, Desktop Engineering or Applications Support role
• Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 technologies including MS Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, Endpoint Manager and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Defender security solutions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across Windows 10/11 environments
• Understanding of endpoint compliance, configuration management and device security
• Experience with PowerShell scripting, automation and Windows Autopilot deployment
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy management
• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview and compliance technologies is beneficial
