Job summary

Search Talent is recruiting a Senior Modern Workplace Consultant to lead the design and delivery of Microsoft 365-based solutions for our diverse client base.

This senior, customer-facing consultancy role focuses on solution architecture, project delivery, and strategic advisory, with emphasis on Copilot adoption and Purview governance.

You will run workshops, deliver migrations and security controls, mentor engineers, and help customers modernise workplaces while ensuring secure cloud usage.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Modern Workplace or Microsoft Cloud consultancy.
• Proven delivery of customer-facing consultancy engagements.
• Experience delivering AI/Copilot adoption and governance projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of Modern Workplace solutions across Microsoft 365.
• Act as trusted advisor on Copilot adoption and readiness.
• Advise on data governance and compliance using Purview.
• Deliver Microsoft 365 migrations and tenant deployments.
• Lead Intune and endpoint management rollouts.
• Deliver Copilot enablement and user adoption programmes.
• Implement Purview solutions, including DLP and retention policies.
• Design identity and security controls using Entra ID, CA, and MFA.
• Implement and manage Defender security solutions.
• Run customer workshops, assessments, and roadmap planning sessions.
• Support pre-sales with solution design and technical input.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and handovers.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to service development.

A fast-growing technology services organisation is seeking a Senior Modern Workplace Consultant to lead the design and delivery of Microsoft 365-based solutions across its customer base.

This is a senior, customer-facing consultancy role with responsibility for solution architecture, project delivery, and strategic advisory. The successful candidate will drive adoption of Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies, with a strong focus on Microsoft Copilot for AI enablement and Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance. You will work closely with customers to modernise their workplace environments, improve productivity, and ensure the secure and compliant use of cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of Modern Workplace solutions across Microsoft 365.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on Microsoft Copilot adoption and readiness.
• Advise customers on data governance and compliance using Microsoft Purview.
• Deliver Microsoft 365 migrations and tenant deployments.
• Lead Intune and endpoint management rollouts.
• Deliver Copilot enablement and user adoption programmes.
• Implement Microsoft Purview solutions, including DLP, Information Protection, and retention policies.
• Design and implement identity and security controls using Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and MFA.

• Support pre-sales activities through solution design and technical input.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and project handover materials.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to service development.

Skills & Technical Expertise

• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, identity, and access control.
• Proven experience implementing Microsoft Copilot, including use cases, readiness, governance, and adoption.
• Proven experience implementing Microsoft Purview, including DLP, Information Protection, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and industry best practices.
• Experience with the Microsoft Defender suite.
• Experience with PowerShell automation is desirable.

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in a Modern Workplace, Microsoft Cloud, or related consultancy role.
• Proven track record of delivering customer-facing consultancy engagements.
• Experience working within an MSP or professional services environment.
• Experience delivering security and compliance initiatives.
• Experience delivering AI and Copilot adoption programmes.
• Experience delivering data governance and information protection projects.

• AZ-500 - Microsoft Azure Security Technologies.
