Job summary

Ballyfin Demesne in Ireland invites applications for a chef de rang to join our fine-dining team. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service in our Michelin-star restaurant, guiding guests and coordinating with kitchen and F&B staff.

We seek a mature, charismatic team player with a passion for hospitality. This is a full-time, permanent position, 5 days over 7 (Mon-Sun) during dinner service, with benefits and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fine-dining or Michelin-star restaurant.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for food, beverage and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service as chef de rang and ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Welcome guests, guide them to tables and explain the menu and service sequence.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, confirm dietary requirements.
• Coordinate with kitchen and F&B team to ensure clear guest communication.
• Assist and train colleagues as needed and maintain high service standards.
• Develop knowledge of Ballyfin's offerings, history, food, beverages and activities.
