Job description

The Spotlight is Waiting: Chef de Cuisine for a Michelin-Starred Restaurant

TOPCHEFS is exclusively representing one of Dublin's most acclaimed Michelin-starred restaurants in its search for a talented and ambitious Chef de Cuisine. This is a rare opportunity for a driven culinary leader to take the helm of a kitchen celebrated for its technical excellence and to build a name for themselves on one of the city's most prestigious stages. This is more than a job; it is the platform your career has been waiting for.

The Opportunity

As Chef de Cuisine, you will inherit the keys to an exceptional operation, taking full command of the day-to-day and working alongside a visionary Chef-Patron. You will be empowered to:

  • Command the Pass: Lead a skilled and passionate team, driving the relentless pursuit of perfection during service.
  • Drive Menu Innovation: Bring your creativity and technical skill to the forefront, contributing significantly to the evolution of the menu.
  • Mentor and Inspire: Uphold the highest standards while developing the talent within your brigade, fostering a culture of excellence and growth.
  • Take Ownership: Assume full responsibility for the kitchen, allowing you to showcase your leadership and organisational prowess.
The Ideal Candidate

My client is seeking a professional who has honed their craft in demanding, high-quality environments. You are likely a Senior Sous Chef looking for that definitive next step, or a current Head Chef seeking a more prestigious platform. You will have:

  • A proven track record of leadership in a Michelin-starred or equivalent, multi-rosette environment.
  • An unwavering commitment to consistency and an eagle-eyed precision for detail.
  • The creative flair and technical foundation required to excel at the highest level.
  • The ambition and maturity to lead a team with confidence and warmth.
The Rewards

In recognition of the skill and dedication required, a tempting and comprehensive rewards package is on offer. This includes:

  1. A True Work-Life Balance: The restaurant operates on a structured 4.5-day working week, a significant and rare benefit in the world of fine dining.
  2. Exceptional Earning Potential: A competitive gross salary is complemented by substantial monthly gratuities.
  3. Comprehensive Benefits: The package is completed with a private health insurance plan and a company pension scheme.

This is a career-defining role for a chef who is ready to step into the spotlight. If that sounds like you, I want to hear from you immediately.
