Job summary

IOM Ireland is seeking a Project Associate for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) to provide essential programmatic, financial, and administrative support under the National MHPSS Officer. The role ensures smooth operations and contributes to improving psychosocial well-being for international protection seekers in Dublin.

Responsibilities include assisting with procurement, budget monitoring, donor reporting, and coordinating meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Political/Social Sciences, IR, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights or Law with 3 years of experience.
• Alternatively, a High School diploma with 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with EU/international funding instruments, financial management, reporting, accounting, and budgeting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor in managing administrative, financial, and HR activities for the MHPSS project.
• Support program coordination, maintain activity tracking tools, and provide guidance to Programme Assistants.
• Process staff expense and travel claims; assist with procurement following IOM procedures; monitor expenditures against budgets.
• Maintain organized project documentation; compile data for donor reporting; coordinate admin support for meetings and events.
• Attend meetings, prepare minutes, and ensure follow-up actions; perform other duties as assigned.
