Job summary

International Organization for Migration (IOM) Ireland seeks a Project Associate – MHPSS to support administrative, HR and financial tasks for the mental health project at Citywest. You will work under the National MHPSS Officer and supervise two Programme Assistants to ensure smooth delivery and reporting.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, strong IT skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or a related field with three years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma with five years of relevant experience.
• Accredited universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
• Experience with IT and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor in implementing and monitoring administrative, financial and HR activities for the project.
• Maintain administrative and HR documents and programme records for monitoring and reporting.
• Process staff and travel claims to ensure timely, compliant processing.
• Coordinate procurement and services for project activities per IOM rules.
• Follow up on budget expenditures and flag discrepancies for timely resolution.
