Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences in Ireland is seeking an Associate Machine Operator (Metals) to support device manufacturing. You'll set up equipment, load materials and run metal component processes to time and quality requirements.

You will follow SOPs, record data in the MES, perform basic maintenance, and troubleshoot issues with guidance from Leads or Engineering. The role follows a 4-day week shift pattern (Mon-Wed 4:30pm-3am, Thu 4:30pm-2am).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with some machinery experience preferred.
• Experience with similar machinery is advantageous.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and run manufacturing processes for device components.
• Follow work instructions and SOPs; record data in MES.
• Verify equipment readiness and adjust parameters to meet quality.
• Inspect equipment and parts to ensure quality and controlled processes.
• Capture process parameters for device history records.
• Perform routine equipment care and escalate issues as needed.
• Select correct tools and fixtures for the operation.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate to leads/engineering.
• Handle chemicals as required and follow safety procedures.
• Operate laser equipment where assigned and adhere to safety rules.
