Job summary

Merit Medical Ireland, Limited is seeking an Assembly Operator in Galway to support four-day workweeks and help manufacture life-changing medical devices. You will rotate through assembly lines, perform precision assembly, and participate in on-line inspections to meet strict specifications.

You will collaborate with Supervisors and Technicians on change-overs, follow safety procedures, and gain hands-on experience with various testing equipment while remaining flexible for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months manufacturing experience preferred
• Reading, speaking, and writing English proficiently
• Able to rotate through assembly lines and work cells

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly on rotating lines with precision
• Conduct on-line and in-process visual inspections to ensure specifications
• Assist with product and machine change-overs with supervisors and technicians
• Adhere to safety standards to protect self and teammates
• Operate testing equipment for periodic product and process testing
• Be flexible to overtime and related duties as required
