Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is representing a small, growing medical device company in Galway seeking a Production Operator for an evening shift. You will assemble medical device products safely, follow procedures, and maintain quality and delivery targets within a team environment.

The role offers a four-day workweek with a 20% shift allowance, plus holidays and health benefits. Initial contract is 12 months, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements in a regulated manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment, ideally in a regulated setting.
• Ability to read, understand and follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Proactive and quality-focused with good attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and communication within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical device products safely and in line with procedures.
• Complete each production step to required quality standards.
• Inspect and test components and finished products as required.
• Identify and report process issues or defects to the lead.
• Complete production, quality, inventory and safety documentation.
• Follow SOPs, cGMP requirements and health and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with the Operations Lead to meet schedules and release targets.
• Assist with material/resource planning to maintain production flow.
• Monitor work-in-progress and stock levels.
• Support validation activities as required.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and Engineering teams.
