Job summary

Alternative Heat Ltd. is seeking an MEP BIM Engineer to develop and coordinate fully integrated MEP models using Revit and Navisworks. The role focuses on prefabrication, offsite fabrication readiness, and seamless collaboration with design and fabrication teams.

You will drive decarbonisation goals by leveraging BIM data for material selections, energy strategies, and embodied carbon tracking, while supporting project delivery from design through handover.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MEP BIM modelling and coordination.
• Experience with prefabrication and LOD500 modelling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage fully coordinated MEP models integrating architectural and structural elements.
• Lead model coordination workshops with consultants and site teams to resolve issues.
• Manage Common Data Environment (CDE) with version control and data history.
• Update models during construction based on site markups and redlines.
• Produce as-installed models to support commissioning and handover.
