Job summary

Gurranabraher Credit Union in Cork City is seeking an experienced Member Services Officer to join our team. You will assist members with day-to-day transactions, loan applications and queries, while supporting front- and back-office operations.

You will provide a professional, helpful service at the front counter and in the member service hub, process transactions on the Credit Union system, handle cash and balance accurately, and deal with loan applications and drawdowns.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Leaving Certificate or equivalent, APA (Loans). QFA preferred.
• Previous significant experience in a member services or counter services role within a credit union, bank or similar financial services environment.
• Experience in processing transactions, handling cash and balancing cash accurately.
• Strong numeracy and IT skills, together with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to excellent member service and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Member Services Officer

Gurranabraher Credit Union is seeking an experienced Member Services Officer to join our team. With offices at Bakers Road and Harbourview Road in Cork City, we are looking for a qualified professional who will deliver an excellent service to our members.

Contract: Permanent, subject to a probation period.

Working week: 4.5 days per week.

Salary: Competitive Salary based on experience and qualifications.

Reporting to: The Credit Union Operations Manager.

The role
