The Irish Haemophilia Society is seeking an Outreach Officer to provide comprehensive support and engagement to members and their families. You will develop relationships, identify needs, provide information and practical assistance, and refer to services as appropriate.

The role involves regular contact by telephone, email and occasional home or hospital visits, with talks to schools by Zoom or in person. You will work closely with the CEO and Operations Manager to ensure timely support and

Competenze

• Minimum of two years' relevant experience in outreach, community development or similar role.
• Experience working directly with individuals, families or communities and addressing a range of support needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong listening, empathy and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate sensitively with people experiencing difficult circumstances.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Good IT skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to equality, inclusion and safeguarding.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel for visits.
