Job summary

BD’s Technical Product Manager leads software-enabled medical devices and digital health platforms, translating customer needs into requirements and a clear product backlog. The role bridges business, engineering, quality, regulatory, and clinical teams to ensure value, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in Product Management, Software Development, Systems Engineering, or Technical Program Management.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
• Identify market opportunities, customer pain points, and emerging healthcare technology trends.
• Collaborate with leaders to develop product investment strategies and long-term roadmaps.
• Lead collaboration across Software, Systems, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Cybersecurity, Manufacturing, Service, and Marketing teams.
• Translate customer needs into detailed product requirements and user stories; maintain the product backlog.
• Drive release planning, monitor product performance and customer feedback, and push for continuous improvements.
