Job summary

Tech Skills Resources (part of the CPL Group) is seeking a Process Technician to join a high-performing operations team in a fast-paced automated medical device manufacturing environment. You will maximise equipment performance, lead continuous improvement and ensure reliable, high-quality production.

Key duties include maintaining automated lines, diagnosing downtime, setting up and calibrating equipment, and collaborating with Engineering to resolve issues while upholding safety and GMP

Qualifications

• NFQ Level 6 qualification in mechanical, electrical, automation or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' hands-on technical/manufacturing experience.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work a 28-day shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise performance on high-volume automated lines.
• Monitor performance, resolve downtime, cycle time and yield issues.
• Perform mechanical, electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting.
• Support planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Make process adjustments to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Repair and replace automation components including sensors, vision systems and robotics.
• Support equipment setup, calibration and changeovers.
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve equipment issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote safety, quality and operational excellence.
