Job summary
Cpl Group is partnering with a leading multinational medical device manufacturer in Ireland to recruit a Process Technician for a state-of-the-art facility. The role focuses on supporting and optimising highly automated production lines, ensuring maximum equipment uptime and product quality.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 6 qualification or higher in a technical discipline and hands-on experience in manufacturing or automation.
Qualifications
- Level 6 qualification or higher in mechanical/electrical/automation
- Experience within manufacturing, maintenance, automation or production environments
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and optimising automated manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues
- Monitoring manufacturing performance and identifying improvement opportunities
- Supporting preventative and reactive maintenance activities
- Performing equipment setup, calibration and technical changeovers
- Working closely with Engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing activities
- Driving safety, quality and operational excellence standards across production
