Alliance Medical in South Dublin is seeking a Medical Administrator to support radiology scheduling and patient services. You will be the first point of contact for patients, manage appointments, and ensure accurate updating of patient records.

In this fast-paced healthcare setting, you will collaborate with radiographers and clinical staff to maintain smooth daily operations, provide compassionate support, and help patients understand examinations.

Responsibilities

Alliance Medical are currently recruiting a Medical Administrator to join our radiology teams based in South Dublin Region. This is a great opportunity to be part of a high-performing, compassionate team providing vital diagnostic imaging services for patients.

Contract:

Full-time, Permanent

Working hours:

37.5 hrs pw

• Shifts vary & can be 7am to 3pm, 9-5, 10-6, 12-8

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about delivering outstanding care in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and confirm radiology appointments with sensitivity and precision
• Serve as the first point of contact for patients and families, ensuring a warm and professional welcome
• Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls and manage appointment-related queries
• Accurately update patient records and internal booking systems
• Work closely with radiology and clinical staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Provide consistent, compassionate support to patients and their families throughout their visit
• Assist Radiographers and act as a chaperone if required for the patients and clinicians benefit.
• Provide reassurance to patients by way of clear explanation as to the nature of an examination.
