Job summary

Jones Engineering Manufacturing Ltd is recruiting a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor for projects based in Carlow, Ireland. You will join our in-house multidisciplinary design team and work on modular build projects for Life Sciences, Data Centre and Energy sectors.

We seek a qualified QS with 3+ years in mechanical contracting, strong technical knowledge of mechanical services, and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Relevant third level qualification essential – Quantity Surveying / Engineering.
• Experience in modular build sector advantageous.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience post qualification in a Mechanical contracting environment.
• Strong technical ability and understanding Mechanical services essential.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills essential
• Experience in management of suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Salary aligned with qualifications and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good understanding of construction contracts & methods of measurement.
• Facility to gain chartership status available in-house.
