Job summary

Moyvalley Meats requires a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for full-time work at Tandragee, Broadford, Co. Kildare. The successful candidate will maintain production machinery to minimise downtime and ensure safe operations, with experience in conveyors, pumps, motors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

Moyvalley Meats requires 1 experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician for full-time work at Tandragee, Broadford, Co. Kildare.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment to minimise downtime and ensure efficient and safe operations. Candidates should have proven experience in mechanical or industrial maintenance, with knowledge of conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other production equipment. The ability to diagnose mechanical faults, carry out repairs, and perform scheduled preventative maintenance is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are required, while experience working in a manufacturing or food production environment would be an advantage.
