Job summary

Ethos in Dublin is offering a Mechanical Engineering internship within our Engineering Studio. You will rotate across teams on live client projects under the guidance of senior engineers and a dedicated buddy.

This role is hybrid, based in Ireland, with opportunities to learn across HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems while developing technical and professional skills for a career in building services.

Qualifications

• Currently an undergraduate student pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Strong academic performance in relevant coursework.
• Hybrid role requiring attendance in Dublin office three times a week.
• Placement or project experience in building services is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, analysis, and documentation of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
• Rotate across Engineering Studio groups to gain broad exposure to building services projects.
• Conduct technical research to support engineering decisions and sustainability initiatives.
• Assist in preparing technical drawings, reports, and project documentation.
• Attend training sessions, workshops, and meetings to develop skills.
• Visit project sites to observe installations, inspections, and commissioning activities.
