Ethos Engineering Ltd. is offering a Graduate Programme for Mechanical Engineering graduates in Dublin.

You will join the Engineering Studio, rotating across groups and gaining hands‑on experience in building services, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Over 18 months you’ll complete technical, professional, and leadership training, supported by a mentor and buddy, with aims toward chartership and a rewarding career in energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong academic performance in relevant mechanical engineering coursework.
• Must be based in Ireland and able to attend our Dublin office at least three (3) days per week under our hybrid model.
• Previous placement, internship, or project experience in building services is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and analyse mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Rotate across groups within the Engineering Studio to gain multidisciplinary project exposure.
• Develop expertise in mechanical engineering principles and apply them to real‑world challenges.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, reports, and project documentation.
• Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with CIBSE, ASHRAE, BS, IS, and EN standards.
• Gain field exposure through site visits, inspections, and troubleshooting activities.
• Contribute to the development of sustainable and energy‑efficient building services solutions.
• Engage in the design and analysis of mechanical systems for building projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across diverse projects.
• Conduct technical research to support engineering decision‑making.
• Attend structured training sessions, workshops, and CPDs.
• Participate in project meetings and client interactions.
• Visit project sites to gain practical exposure to inspections, installations, and commissioning.
• Contribute to sustainable, energy‑efficient mechanical solutions.
