Job summary

Crystal Air Ltd, a Mitsubishi Electric group company, invites you to join a dynamic team onsite in Ireland. The role involves assisting engineers on construction sites, handling cable trays, installations and basic pipework, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The position is full-time and permanent, offering career progression within Crystal Air or the Mitsubishi Electric Group, including opportunities to work abroad in Holland, Germany, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.

Qualifications

• Experience as a General Operative is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Completing any reasonable duties as requested by the site supervisor.
• Adhering to site safety policies and procedures.
• Assisting engineers and electricians on site to optimise efficiency, including hanging cable trays and installing indoor units.
• Hanging cable tray and cutting metal components to length for brackets.
• Pulling in cables and installing pipes on trays.
• Assisting with site logistics, loading and moving equipment around site.

The Role/Duties

• Completing any reasonable and relevant duties as requested by the site supervisor.
• Adhering to site safety policies and procedures
• Assisting our Engineers and electricians on site, optimising efficiency through tasks such as:
• Hanging cable tray
• Cutting Unistrut/ treaded bar to length for brackets.
• Mark and drill holes in concrete slabs and tap home anchors.
• Hanging indoor units
• Rolling out coils of copper
• Lagging copper with Armaflex
• Installing pipes on tray
• Pulling in cables on tray
• Assisting with site logistics, loading, and moving equipment around site.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in a General Operative role is advantageous but not essential
• Previous cable tray experience is advantageous but not essential
• Previous plumbing experience is advantageous but not essential
• Valid Safe Pass is desirable but not essential
• Knowledge for Safety awareness in Construction Sites
• Excellent timekeeping
