Job summary

Crystal Air Ltd, a Mitsubishi Electric Group company, invites you to join a growing, quality-driven team in Ireland. You will install copper piping for new Air-Conditioning systems, ensuring on-time delivery and high standards while representing the company professionally.

Qualifications

• Copper brazing and pipe fitting experience required.
• Ability to read piping schematics and drawings.
• Experience with leak/pressure tests and quality control is advantageous.

The Role

• Carry out installation of copper pipework of new Air-Conditioning systems.
• Ensure all works are delivered on time as Per Time Task Allocation.
• Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and quality.
• To be proactive and client focused in delivery of all works.
• Always represent the company in a competent and professional manner.

Skills & Experience

• Copper Brazing
• Copper pipe bending skills
• Competent in reading piping schematics and drawings.
• Measuring and cutting pipes to the required length, using hand and power bending tools.
• Installing and connecting pipes and components according to the design specifications and safety standards.
• Previous experience as a Copper Pipe Installer on large-scale commercial or industrial projects
• To be successful as a pipefitter, you need to have a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. You should also be able to work independently or as part of a team, communicate effectively, and adapt to changing work environments and conditions.
• Prior experience in knowledge of refrigeration pipework and purging avoiding oxidisation is an advantage but not a requirement. Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
• Prior experience in knowledge of Reading and interpreting, Isometric drawings and Mechanical Drawings specifications to determine the layout, sequence, and location of piping systems is an advantage but not a requirement. Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
• Prior experience in knowledge of Performing leak tests, pressure tests, and other quality control checks to ensure that the piping systems is free from leaks and are functioning correctly and efficiently is an advantage but not a requirement. Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
• Prior experience in knowledge of Mitsubishi, Daikin, Panasonic or Toshiba Air Conditioning Systems is an advantage but not a requirement. Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
• Prior experience installing ‘refnet’ branches in copper piping is an advantage but not a requirement. Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
