Job summary

Arup in Ireland seeks Mechanical & Electrical Engineers to design mechanical and electrical services for a variety of building types, including commercial, residential, healthcare, science and industry. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across Ireland and overseas.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, BIM experience, and knowledge of industry codes.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in the design of Building Services systems such as HVAC, pressure cascades, specialist gases, understanding of GMP, in Industry, Healthcare and/or Education.
• Ability to work in a BIM environment.
• Knowledge of relevant industry codes of practice and standards.
• Ability to produce technical reports and commercial proposals for clients.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the design of mechanical & electrical services for a variety of building types, including commercial, residential, healthcare, science and industry, technology and education.
• Use your technical expertise to develop innovative and sustainable design solutions.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and designers to deliver some of the most complex and high-quality projects, in Ireland and overseas.
• Manage projects and deliver on time and within budget.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
