CEL Critical Power Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to create and maintain 3D CAD assemblies of electrical switchgear and associated components. You will produce precise 2D drawings, interpret electrical schematics, and ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.

You will collaborate across design, project management and production, while maintaining CEL’s CAD standards and BOMs. A 3–5 year background in mechanical design in switchgear/electrical panels is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Formal CAD training (preferably Autodesk Inventor).
• 3–5 years’ experience in mechanical design, ideally in switchgear or electrical panels.

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain 3D assemblies of electrical switchgear.
• Design accurate 3D models of machined and sheet metal parts and components.
• Produce detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with tolerances and material specs.
• Interpret electrical schematics to develop mechanical designs.
• Collaborate with suppliers to obtain 3D models or develop components.
• Verify dimensions, clearances, and installation constraints using datasheets.
• Adhere to CAD standards and design procedures with approved templates.
• Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Support production and liaise with suppliers on manufacturability.
