CEL Critical Power Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to create and maintain 3D CAD assemblies of electrical switchgear and associated components. You will produce precise 2D drawings, interpret electrical schematics, and ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
You will collaborate across design, project management and production, while maintaining CEL’s CAD standards and BOMs. A 3–5 year background in mechanical design in switchgear/electrical panels is expected.

Reporting to the Mechanical Design Manager, the Mechanical Engineer is responsible for producing accurate and efficient 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings for electrical switchgear panels and associated components. This role ensures that mechanical designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and aligned with CEL’s internal standards, while supporting collaboration across Electrical Design, Project Management, Production, and external suppliers.
