Job summary

Flex seeks an Electrical Design Engineer for Dundalk, Ireland to design switchgear and power distribution products, and to create general arrangements and schematics using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.

The role requires a third-level Electrical Engineering qualification, relevant switchgear experience, and a methodical approach to problem solving within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Flexible/hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or related technical background.
• Solid understanding of electricity fundamentals and circuit design.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical switchgear and power distribution products under guidance.
• Create general arrangements and electrical schematics using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Generate bills of materials and supporting documentation; maintain design records.
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers and work with cross-functional teams.
