Job summary

Anord Mardix in Dundalk, Ireland, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop 3D CAD models of switchboards and related equipment. You will produce production-ready drawings and assist production and testing teams with design issues, collaborating across engineering disciplines.

The role offers mentoring, diverse project exposure, and a hybrid work setup. A 3rd level degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, with proficiency in Inventor/Vault and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

3rd level degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience in mechanical design of electrical equipment is advantageous.
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills with precision.

Responsibilities

Create 3D mechanical designs of switchboards and related products for production.
Ensure controlled, accurate shop floor drawings and documentation.
Support Production/Test with design issue resolutions.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineering leads on standard drawings.
Travel to client sites for surveys when required.
