Job summary

M&E Engineering Contractor is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join a major data centre project based in Dublin, with the wider team operating from Westmeath. You will coordinate the fire protection package on site, liaising with design, installation and client teams to keep the programme on track.

You will review drawings, manage procurement and ensure technical coordination across site activities, contributing to safe, compliant delivery of a critical data centre project in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Must have a mechanical engineering qualification or relevant mechanical background.
• Proven project engineering experience required within mechanical construction or building services.
• Must be comfortable coordinating mechanical installations on a large construction project.
• Full driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the fire protection package on site.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical submittals.
• Coordinate installation requirements with site and design teams.
• Manage procurement and material requirements.
• Monitor programme, quality and project progress.
• Resolve technical and site coordination issues.
• Support testing, commissioning and project handover.
