Job summary

Structure Tone Ireland is seeking an experienced MEP Project Engineer to join our data centre team. You will coordinate delivery of MEP systems across the full project lifecycle, from design through construction and handover, working with project managers, design teams, consultants and suppliers.

You will ensure safety and high technical standards, manage interfaces between disciplines, review specifications, and help drive milestones in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services engineering.
• Experience as MEP Project Engineer, Building Services Engineer or similar.
• Experience on data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP building services and controls.
• Understanding of data centre redundancy and resilience principles.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and suppliers.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of building regs and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage MEP delivery across complex data centre projects.
• Support PM in planning, execution and milestone delivery.
• Coordinate interfaces between mechanical, electrical, public health and other systems.
• Review drawings, submittals and design information for compliance.
• Identify risks and design clashes; provide effective solutions.
• Handle RFIs and design changes with the project team.
• Attend design, technical, progress and coordination meetings.
• Monitor on-site progress and quality of MEP installations.
• Support commissioning activities and handover documentation.
