Job summary

Mercury is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Dublin, Ireland to lead cross-disciplinary design and manage mechanical packages from review through to on-site execution. You will engage with stakeholders at all levels, drive design quality, and support estimation, procurement and planning for high-value data centre projects.

You will mentor the project team, manage design deliverables, and ensure compliance with QEHS and client standards in a fast-evolving construction environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years post graduate experience in the Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences or Data Centre sectors.
• Demonstration of design, technical and construction knowledge is essential.
• Experience in leading meetings and coordinating the other team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the project team to deliver packages on time.
• Prepare handover packs and support project delivery through to site execution.
