Job summary

H & D MEATS Ltd T/A Robinson Meats is hiring a Meat Processing Operative in Chapelizod, Dublin. The role involves operating and monitoring meat production machinery, preparing the production line, and ensuring hygiene and safety throughout the process.

You will work on the meat processing line with set production procedures, perform quality checks, and help package and store finished products. Prior production or manufacturing experience is beneficial and you will be part of a team meeting daily

Qualifications

• Previous production experience highly beneficial.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor meat processing and production machinery according to established procedures.
• Prepare and set up the production line, ensuring equipment, materials and meat products are ready for processing.
• Carry out meat processing and preparation activities using appropriate machinery and equipment.
• Handle and prepare meat products through different stages of the production process.
• Monitor production and perform routine quality checks to meet required standards.
• Package, label and prepare processed meat products for storage and distribution.
• Perform pre-start, hygiene and safety checks on machinery and production equipment.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in processing areas.
• Identify and report equipment faults, defects or issues to the Line Supervisor.
