Job summary

Study Group is seeking a full-time lecturer to plan and deliver engaging programmes at the Dublin International Study Centre. The role is on-site in Dublin and includes a fixed-term contract until November 2, 2028, with a salary up to €42,000 per year.

You will design inclusive learning, create schemes of work, use digital resources, provide timely feedback, assess work, and support international students to progress to undergraduate study and university partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Physics or related area (essential)
• A relevant teaching qualification or post-graduate degree (desirable)
• Experience of teaching in the Higher or Further Education sectors or of Leaving Certificate (Hons)/A-level (essential)
• Experience of working with international students (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute appropriate, effective and inclusive learning programmes through schemes of work
• Plan teaching sessions which accommodate individualised learning using a variety of resources, including digital learning
• Ensure that learning materials are available on the VLE for students to access and engage with
• Write summative assessments according to QQI programme assessment briefs
• Provide regular and timely feedback to students to enable improvement and achievement of qualifications
• Engage in moderation of assessment materials and student work, including double marking and documentation for external examiners
