Job summary

C&D Foods (ABP Group) is seeking a proactive Materials Coordinator to join our team in Ireland. You will oversee supplier PO creation, maintenance in the MRP system, and coordinating material calls based on demand to support production schedules.

You will manage on-site inventory, supplier collaborations, and periodic reporting while promoting accuracy, risk awareness, and timely communication within a fast-moving environment. 1-2 years' experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• Strong ability to manage multiple POs, inventory levels, and MRP updates.
• Prioritizes effectively and meets deadlines in a fastmoving environment.
• Attention to detail and clear communication skills.
• Analytical and problem solving skills; identifies risks early.
• Proactive self-starter with good IT literacy (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Creation and maintenance of Supplier Purchase Orders in conjunction with demand.
• Calling off materials based on demand.
• PO maintenance on MRP system.
• Facilitate weekly meetings with all Key Suppliers reporting any concerns.
• Manage adherence to supplier consignment stock agreements.
• Participate in NPD meetings including the management of run in, run out process.
• Review quarterly potential obsolescent reviews for clearance to minimize financial exposure.
• Review ingredient aged product seeking extensions where feasible to minimize waste.
• Maintain transitional dates of BOM up to date in conjunction with the Master Data Controller.
• Manage on site inventory in accordance with capacity and aligned with Working Capital targets.
• Timely reporting of any issues.
• Preparation and support in periodic reporting: OTIF
