Job summary

Prodieco Limited in Ireland is seeking a Stores Coordinator to manage materials, stock and consumables within the Stores area. You will ensure accurate stock records, support production flow and uphold health and safety standards.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Assembly & Test and Quality teams to drive inventory accuracy, Kanban replenishment and continuous improvement of stock practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Stores, Warehouse or Inventory Coordination.
• Experience with manufacturing or engineering environments is advantageous.
• Proficient with ERP systems for stock records and reporting.
• Experience in stock-taking, inventory analysis and reporting; improving inventory processes.
• Knowledge of Lean principles or continuous improvement practices desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receive batch parts from Manufacturing and verify quantities against delivery docs; ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Control inbound and outbound movements in Stores; maintain stock records on the ERP system.
• Pick job orders per production planning schedule; prioritise by production deadlines.
• Match completed kits with manufacturing parts; prepare Stores kits for packing.
• Replenish Kanban locations to maintain optimal stock levels for Stores operations.
• Participate in cycle counts and stock-taking; maintain accurate inventory records.
• Escalate discrepancies and inventory issues to Procurement Manager promptly.
• Issue a report of outstanding purchased parts and batch parts impacting Stores operations.
• Review Ops 35 and highlight projects blocked by part shortages.
• Comply with health & safety requirements and Stores processes.
• Develop and implement inventory management improvement strategies; reorder planning and stock rotation.
• Prepare and present inventory reports to Procurement Manager highlighting trends and risks.
• Conduct audits of completed kits and manufacturing parts for quality and accuracy.
• Lead stock-taking activities; ensure accuracy, completeness and schedule adherence.
• Support Stores KPIs, SLAs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with Procurement to ensure availability of required parts.
