Job description

We’re recruiting a Product Marketing Manager on behalf of an established healthcare technology business based in Dublin.

Our client develops technology used by healthcare professionals to make day-to-day clinical work more efficient, reduce administrative workload and support better access to care. They’re continuing to invest in their product offering, including newer AI-enabled capabilities, and are looking for someone to strengthen how those products are positioned, launched and communicated to the market.

The Role

This is a broad Product Marketing role with ownership across positioning, messaging, go-to-market activity, product adoption and market intelligence.

They’re looking for someone who can get close to the products and customers, understand what genuinely differentiates the offering and turn that into messaging that works commercially.

A major part of the role will be creating structured messaging frameworks across a multi-product portfolio. You’ll also take ownership of go-to-market plans for new products and important feature releases. That responsibility doesn’t stop when something launches - you’ll follow adoption afterwards, understand what is or isn’t gaining traction and adjust the approach accordingly.

You’ll use customer feedback, competitor research and wider market insight to give Sales, Marketing and Customer teams practical positioning and enablement they can use.

Reporting into the senior marketing function, you’ll also take responsibility for part of the business’s events and field marketing activity across the UK and Ireland, including representing the product portfolio at relevant conferences, exhibitions and industry events.

The business makes regular use of AI to support areas such as research, drafting and initial competitor analysis. You won’t need experience building AI agents, but you should know how to give AI tools clear direction, critically assess what they produce and take ownership of the quality of the final work.

  • Own and continually develop the positioning and messaging frameworks used across the product portfolio.
  • Take detailed or technical product capabilities and turn them into messaging that is easy to understand, differentiated and commercially useful.
  • Carry out research with buyers, customers and end users to shape product positioning and narratives.
  • Recognise where the priorities of healthcare professionals and day-to-day users differ from those of budget holders and purchasing decision-makers, and adapt the messaging accordingly.
  • Make sure product communications are supported by appropriate evidence and remain consistent wherever they appear.
  • Contribute to broader decisions around how the brand and product portfolio are structured through effective product-level positioning.
  • Work closely with Product, Sales, Customer and Marketing colleagues so that messaging accurately reflects both what the product delivers and what customers need.
Go-to-Market, Launches & Adoption
  • Take the lead on go-to-market strategy for new products, launches and major feature releases.
  • Manage launch activity from the initial planning stages through to release.
  • Produce strong enablement content for both commercial teams and customer-facing use.
  • Create and regularly update materials such as competitive battlecards, objection responses, product stories, launch resources and other tools required by teams in the field.
  • Make sure Sales and Customer teams have the positioning, evidence and supporting content they need before a launch reaches the market.
  • Coordinate with Growth Marketing, Product, Sales, customer communications and corporate communications to ensure launches are joined up across the business.
  • Review product and feature uptake following release, using adoption data and feedback to improve subsequent messaging and positioning.
  • Partner with Product and Customer teams to understand where usage is falling short and create communications or enablement that can help remove those barriers.
  • Keep on top of competitor developments, customer behaviour and wider changes within healthcare technology across the relevant international markets.
  • Develop an organised picture of competitors, including how they position themselves, what their products offer and how the wider market is changing.
  • Turn competitive research into useful actions and recommendations for product messaging and positioning.
  • Regularly refresh messaging frameworks and commercial enablement as competitors and market conditions change.
  • Keep Marketing, Sales, Product and senior stakeholders informed of important competitor activity, developing opportunities and emerging themes.
  • Use market evidence to question existing assumptions and improve how the business and its products are positioned.
Events & Field Marketing
  • Act as a representative for the business and its products at conferences, exhibitions, customer sessions and other relevant industry events across the UK and Ireland.
  • Support the planning and delivery of events, conferences and sponsorship activity in both markets.
  • Make sure field activity connects back to broader product, commercial and brand objectives.
  • Create the product messaging and collateral required for conferences and other field marketing activity.
  • Work alongside customer communications and other internal teams to gather customer stories, supporting evidence and useful market feedback at events.
  • Bring insights gathered in the field back into product marketing, competitive strategy and wider commercial activity.
  • Support post-event follow-up aimed at converting industry visibility and engagement into genuine commercial opportunities.
What They’re Looking For
  • Previous Product Marketing experience gained within B2B SaaS, healthcare technology or another sophisticated technology environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience creating positioning, value propositions and structured messaging frameworks.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling ability, particularly when translating complicated product information into straightforward and persuasive commercial messaging.
  • Experience working across several products, propositions or markets at the same time.
  • A clear track record of supporting both product and feature launches throughout the full launch lifecycle.
  • Experience producing sales enablement content that commercial teams genuinely use.
  • Experience analysing adoption and usage after launch and applying those findings to improve positioning and increase product uptake.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer and senior leadership.
  • The ability to present effectively internally and comfortably represent products at external conferences and industry events.
  • Good commercial judgement and the analytical skills to turn competitor information into a clear, evidence-backed market position.
  • The ability to work autonomously, own your area and switch comfortably between strategic thinking and hands-on delivery.
  • Confidence using AI-supported tools across research, writing, analysis and productivity while applying your own judgement and maintaining strong quality standards.
  • The flexibility to travel throughout the UK and Ireland when required for conferences and relevant industry events.

A background in healthcare technology is particularly desirable.

Candidates coming from this space should understand that healthcare product claims face a higher standard of scrutiny than many other technology sectors. Awareness of GDPR, clinical safety and the importance of evidence-based product positioning will therefore be valuable.

They’re looking for someone who naturally questions whether messaging and product claims can be properly supported before they are taken to market.

What Success Will Look Like
  • Stronger positioning: Key products have clearly defined and differentiated messaging frameworks that commercial and marketing teams understand and use.
  • Well-Prepared launches: New products and significant features reach the market with the required positioning, sales enablement and supporting content already in place.
  • Real adoption: Product launches translate into measurable usage, with underperformance investigated and addressed rather than simply reported.
  • More effective commercial teams: Sales and Customer colleagues have the information and confidence required to articulate product value and differentiation.
  • Actionable market insight: Competitor and market research feeds directly into positioning and commercial choices.
  • Greater impact from events: Conferences, events and sponsorship activity contribute to commercial opportunities while generating useful customer and market intelligence.
  • Credible product communications: Messaging and product claims remain accurate, properly supported and appropriate for a healthcare environment.
