Job summary

SRG is seeking a talented graduate to begin a career in marketing within a global pharmaceutical leader. The role supports brand plans across therapy areas, coordinating activities and materials while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

You will gain exposure to market research, promotional strategies, and event management in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. A degree in Life Science/Marketing/Business and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level in Life Science, Marketing or Business.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience or exposure in UK/Ireland healthcare/pharma is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfort with cross-functional collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support and, where needed, lead in developing activities to meet brand objectives.
  • Coordinate production of promotional and non-promotional material.
  • Manage external funding approvals and HIP-era processes where applicable.
  • Oversee events management and liaise with stakeholders for successful delivery.
  • Support market research and insights to inform strategy.
  • Build and maintain matrix relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Coordinate contracts and payments; engage with procurement as required.
  • Provide general admin, trackers, and distribution of field force materials.

Hours of work: Mon – Fri (37.5 hours a week)

Onsite requirement: This will be a hybrid role, with 3 days per week on site.

Salary: €36,750.00 per annum

Education required:

To be eligible for this placement you must have graduated from a UK or Irish university in the last 2 years, and be educated to degree level in Life Science or similar.

This role will work collaboratively with Therapy Area team colleagues across a portfolio of products to support the delivery of strategic and tactical brand plans.

The therapeutic areas you could be involved in are:

  • Therapeutic Area (Commercial) Oncology
  • Therapeutic Area (Commercial) Immunology/Neuroscience/Cardiovascular
Your responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support and in some cases lead in the development and delivery of defined activities and content to support brand objectives and customer needs in a specific disease area/s.
  • Coordinate internal processes (e.g., FUSE) and production of promotional and non‑promotional material.
  • Lead and coordinate approval and implementation of external funding arrangements including management of internal processes e.g., HIP.
  • Manage events agency and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery for meetings with transfer of value.
  • Support market research/insight gathering projects on the market environment for the portfolio.
  • Create and manage excellent matrix relationships internally and with external clients/agencies, including, but not limited to medical experts, sales professionals, marketing experts
  • Provide project and event management support for internal and external events and meetings
  • Be responsible for coordinating contract agreements and payments
  • Management of vendor requests and general engagement with procurement
  • General administration e.g., record management and trackers, field force material distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and standard operating procedures.
We are looking for an individual who can meet the following criteria:
  • Educated to degree level in any Science, Marketing, Business or other relevant subject
  • Clear motivation and ambition to gain experience in a therapeutic area environment
  • Ability to evidence skills which are transferrable to the business environment (e.g., good time management, teamwork) experience of successfully working with teams through work, academic and/or extracurricular activities
  • You will be able to demonstrate
  • Proactivity – ability to work independently and proactively under own initiative, taking responsibility and driving projects and activities to a successful conclusion
  • Analytical thinking – can understand and use complex data and can communicate complex data to a wide range of professional and lay audiences, adapting their wording and style to suit

  • Collaboration & teamwork - can develop effective relationships with team and customers, gaining trust and credibility quickly. Has the confidence to work with all levels and types of people, as an effective member of a cross-functional team
  • Customer focused mindset - delivering high quality projects and activities to internal and external groups with awareness and responsiveness to their needs
  • Fluency in English - verbal and written – is required
  • You will be IT savvy and highly proficient with Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, PPT skills and Word at Advanced Level)
  • Experience within UK/Ireland healthcare and /or pharmaceuticals environment is an advantage, but not necessary
