Job summary

The Grand Hotel Malahide is seeking a Marketing Executive to join our team and contribute to the future success of the property.

Help deliver digital, social and email marketing campaigns, create on-brand content, coordinate with hotel departments and support ongoing promotions and seasonal campaigns.

• Support the Marketing Manager with day-to-day marketing activity across digital, social media, email and other channels.
• Create engaging and on-brand content for all hotel departments across social media and digital channels.
• Assist with planning, creation and scheduling of social media content including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok.
• Create short-form video content (Reels/TikTok) using on-site photography and shoots.
• Assist with digital marketing assets and email campaigns, ensuring brand guidelines are followed.
• Coordinate content requirements with hotel departments and manage content library.

Key Requirements:

• Experience as a Marketing Executive or similar role (desirable)
• Naturally creative with a strong eye for social content
• Demonstrates high levels of energy, enthusiasm and professionalism
• Provides a great work environment and treating each other with dignity and respect and embracing diversity (TEAM)
• Communicates in a structured and effective manner with their team
• Main Duties:
• Support the Marketing Manager with the day-to-day delivery of the hotel’s marketing activity across digital, social media, email and other marketing channels.
• Create engaging and on-brand content for all hotel departments across social media and digital channels.
• Assist with the planning, creation and scheduling of social media content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant channels.
• Create short-form video content, including Reels and TikTok videos, using photography and video captured on-site and through content shoots.
• Assist with the creation of digital marketing assets, including social media graphics, promotional materials, email banners, website imagery and other branded content.
• Assist with the creation and scheduling of email marketing campaigns and newsletters, ensuring content, imagery, links and messaging are accurate and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Support the development of creative concepts and content ideas for all hotel departments and seasonal campaigns.
• Assist with content creation, including preparing shot lists, gathering content and helping to coordinate content requirements with relevant hotel departments.
• Maintain and organise the hotel’s digital content library, ensuring photography, video and creative assets are easily accessible and kept up to date.
• Assist with updating the hotel website and other digital platforms, ensuring content, imagery,offers and key information are accurate and presented in line with brand standards.
• Support the creation and distribution of promotional content for hotel offers, packages, dining experiences, events and other commercial activity.
• Monitor social media channels and assist with day-to-day community management, including responding to or escalating relevant comments and enquiries in line with brand guidelines.
• Keep up to date with social media trends, content formats and digital marketing developments, identifying relevant ideas and opportunities for the hotel’s channels.
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager and internal departments to gather information, content and updates required for marketing campaigns and communications.
• Ensure all marketing content is consistent with The Grand’s brand guidelines, tone of voice and visual identity.
• Assist with basic reporting and tracking of digital and social media activity, including content performance, engagement and email campaign results.
• Provide general administrative and creative support to the Sales & Marketing department as required.
