Job summary

Arcon Recruitment Ireland is assisting a Mayo-based retailer to recruit a Marketing Executive. The role centers on growing the company’s digital presence and driving online sales through Shopify, social media, email marketing and paid campaigns.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on e-commerce and retail marketing experience, with a focus on creative content, data-driven optimization and multi-channel digital marketing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Marketing Executive, Digital Marketing or E-Commerce role.
• Experience within retail or e-commerce is highly desirable.
• Strong working knowledge of Shopify.
• Good understanding of social media and digital marketing.
• Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO and email marketing would be advantageous.
• Strong content creation and copywriting skills.
• Good analytical and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities.
• Creative, proactive and results focused.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update the company's Shopify e-commerce website.
• Develop and implement marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
• Manage product listings, online promotions, website content and merchandising.
• Create engaging content for social media, website and email marketing campaigns.
• Manage digital advertising campaigns across Google, Meta and other relevant platforms.
• Support SEO activity to improve website visibility and organic traffic.
• Monitor website performance, online sales and conversion rates.
• Use Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics to track performance and identify opportunities.
• Plan and coordinate seasonal campaigns, promotions and product launches.
• Manage email marketing and customer engagement campaigns.
• Work closely with management and the wider retail team to support overall sales and marketing objectives.
• Monitor competitor activity, retail trends and developments within e-commerce.

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

We are currently recruiting a Marketing Executive for an established and growing retail business based in Co. Mayo.

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and commercially focused marketing professional with experience in retail, e-commerce and digital marketing. Strong hands-on experience with Shopify would be a particular advantage.

The successful candidate will play an important role in developing the company's digital presence, increasing online sales and delivering engaging marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities
