Responsibilities

• Drive your team to meet hourly and daily output targets while ensuring productivity throughout the shift.
• Act as guardian of quality, ensuring products meet ISO13485 standards and address deviations via coaching.
• Lead onboarding and buddy system for new hires, ensuring training on work instructions and safety protocols.
• Manage attendance, conduct performance reviews (3/6/12 months), and handle employee relations proactively.
• Lead impactful Start-up Meetings to align the team on quality, safety and production goals.
• Monitor and reduce scrap levels while ensuring adherence to work instructions and processes.
• Plan shift coverage, holiday scheduling and payroll accuracy for seamless production continuity.
• Champion a culture of safety with 100% PPE compliance and organized workspaces.
• Provide early-warning updates on shipment timelines to Supervisors and work with HR on recruitment and disciplinary matters.
• Track and report on absenteeism, training progress, and production output.

Our Fermoy, Ireland, facility is FDA registered and certified to ISO ISO13485:2016 for the manufacture of high-quality PCBAs, subassemblies and complete devices up to and including Class III medical devices.

Objectives Of Position

• Quality: It is the responsibility of the Section Leader to ensure production operators assemble, test and handle all products in line with the documented specification and processes, thus ensuring that all products supplied to our customers are to the highest possible quality levels and conform to all specification requirements


• Productivity: Working as part of the manufacturing team to produce the correct number of products in line with the production plans as communicated by Supervisors. These products must be available to ensure the correct levels of delivery performance to our customers


• Teamwork: All employees will be part of a team committed to a goal of total customer satisfaction and will be required to participate as a team member during each day of their employment
