AbbVie Ballytivnan in Sligo seeks a Manufacturing Process Specialist to provide technical leadership in formulation, aseptic filling, and isolator technology. You will own equipment knowledge, lead process studies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and successful technology transfer.

The role emphasizes regulatory readiness, continuous improvement, and supporting new product introductions with a focus on quality and efficiency in ADC manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, science or technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in pharmaceutical process engineering with batch processing, tech transfers, scale-up, commissioning and validation in cGMP/pharma or Biologics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in formulation, aseptic filling and isolator technology.
• Represent the team at regulatory audits.
• Own manufacturing equipment, process knowledge, and technology.
• Source and procure process equipment with technical oversight.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Oversee technology transfer planning, execution, and reporting.
• Liaise with operations, quality and S&T to optimize performance.
