Job summary

Gi Group Holding represents a well-established manufacturing organisation seeking a Financial Controller to lead the site finance function in Clare. The role reports to the financial director and drives reporting, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls.

Responsibilities include developing the finance team, delivering monthly closes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SOX where applicable, and providing strategic analysis to improve profitability and governance.

Qualifications

• Qualified professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
• Minimum five years progressive finance/accounting experience
• Manufacturing environment experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP and multinational reporting
• SOX knowledge advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the finance team, promoting strong performance and development.
• Partner with leaders to support business decisions through financial analysis and commercial insight.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports for corporate systems.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and statutory filings.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and cost accounting to improve profitability.
