Job summary

Careerwise Recruitment partners with a leading Irish food manufacturing company to recruit a Financial Controller in Cork. This commercially focused role reports to senior leadership and offers the opportunity to influence business strategy, drive financial performance, and partner with Operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead monthly management accounts, budgeting, cash flow, cost and inventory reporting, and implement robust controls.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with professional body certification.
• 5+ years FC experience in manufacturing.
• Strong commercial and operational awareness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
• Manage cost accounting and inventory reporting.
• Develop and improve financial controls and processes.
• Oversee annual audit and statutory compliance.
• Drive ERP and BI improvements; partner with Operations & Supply Chain.
