Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Significant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to translate financial data for stakeholders.
• Proficient in ERP systems and strong IT/Excel capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Track and analyse actual vs. standard cost variances and collaborate with Operations.
• Support the preparation of the annual operations budget.
• Review and maintain inventory valuation, provisions and monthly adjustments.
• Lead annual inventory counts and 3PL reconciliations.
• Own month-end close including accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly Management Accounts with executive summaries of performance vs budget.
• Analyse gross margins by product, customer and contract for pricing decisions.
• Lead annual budgeting process and provide monthly variance reports.
• Deliver rolling forecasts aligned to production capacity and performance.
• Improve data flow between manufacturing and finance systems (ERP).
