Job summary

Ohshima Ireland Limited is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the Finance team and step into a senior finance role within a market-leading SME.

Qualified ACCA/ACA professionals with 3-4+ years of manufacturing accounting experience will oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, VAT, PAYE, and monthly management accounts, while ensuring internal controls and supporting statutory audits.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACCA or ACA (Top 10 practice preferred).
• 3-4+ years of commercially focused manufacturing accounting experience.
• Third level degree in accounting or business studies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Finance department operations and daily activities.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of invoices.
• Handle payroll (Micropay) in line with Revenue requirements.
• Prepare VAT, PAYE and VIES returns.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with reconciliations and control accounts.
• Coordinate year-end audit file and liaise with external auditors.
