Shay Murtagh Precast Ltd invites a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Raharney production facility, supporting safe, efficient manufacture of precast concrete units. You will own an allocated area, coordinate labour and resources, and ensure adherence to drawings, specs and programme targets.

The role requires a civil engineering background with 2–3 years’ setting-out or site experience, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving, quality and continuous improvement within a busy production

Formación

• Minimum 2-3 years setting out or site experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of reinforced-concrete precast production.

Responsabilidades

• Own daily operation for allocated production area, aligning with production manager goals.
• Review drawings and specs; ensure accurate transfer to manufacturing activities.
• Coordinate materials, moulds and labour to meet production plan.
• Explain technical requirements to production teams and resolve issues.
• Support safety, quality and housekeeping across the area.
• Lead a team of up to 30 staff; drive performance and training.
• Monitor defects and cost drivers; drive continuous improvements.
• Coordinate with Design, Quality, Maintenance and Logistics to resolve queries.
